General Contracting

At heart, we are a general contracting firm and serve as the prime contractor to our clients. Our clients place their full trust in B2 Constructors and its ability to fully manage the project whether it’s a turn-key project or equipment procurement. We have experience in all project aspects from conception to commissioning and all points in between to include: budgeting, feasibility studies, accounting, design, scheduling, engineering, procurement, construction and project management. We also have experience serving as the Owners Engineer as well as providing Project Management for the Engineer of Record. Having experience on both sides of the table means we have an in depth understanding of all things project related.

Construction Management

We’re capable of providing Construction Management services if the customer desires and acting as their Construction Manager. We have a track record of successfully managing over $50M in Capital Project, and many with very strict unwavering schedules. In a scenario like this, B2 Constructors can operate under an A/E schedule or we can work with the client to develop a schedule and implement the installation per this schedule. With client input, deliverables will be established and milestones will be set according to client and/or financier interests. With the aid of software, we can develop a man power loading schedule to ensure adequate resources are utilized to provide an on time project completion.


B2 Constructors, LLC has a lengthy history of projects in the EPC (Engineer-Procure-Construct) form. Also called turn-key projects because of their ease of implementation and minimal risk and input from the client. These projects place the bulk of the risk on the EPC Contractor, but the client retains full involvement as in any project.

Once the project specs and schedule are established, we can begin the preliminary engineering phase with review cycle frequency dependent upon the client’s needs. After preliminary engineering is complete and we have the clients approval, specs will be developed for the equipment procurement and we will begin the procurement cycle. Clients remain in the know and will be have the ability to review and approve equipment drawings if they desire. The detailed engineering cycle will run in parallel to equipment procurement as equipment drawings are received. Once procurement is finalized and all equipment drawings are received in-house, detailed engineering can be complete. At this point, a final engineering design review will take place and all parties will sign off on the final engineering design.

Immediately following design approval, we will develop construction specifications and issue bid packages for trade specific work to include: mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, controls, etc. Bids will be evaluated in house and contracts awarded based on adherence to specifications and parameters set forth by B2 Constructors and the client. Contracts will be awarded to subcontractors and the project will move into the construction phase. A full-time onsite Construction Manager and/or Project Manager will manage construction to ensure full and complete adherence to project specifications and schedule by each subcontractor. As a company, we believe in being proactive and spotting issues in advance of them becoming a problem or a change order.

The Construction Manager will see the construction through to completion, at which point our Commissioning Manger will take control and drive the project home. Our Construction Manager will remain onsite and assist the Commissioning Manager as well as work with subcontractors to aggressively close out any open punchlist items. We understand this is a critical phase of the project and can easily be overlooked as all parties are moving to close out the project. We are resolute, remain fully involved here and push extra hard to make a timely and prudent closeout. B2 Constructors can provide commission services or we can work with the clients Commissioning Manager to ensure successful commissioning. We will support the project in any fashion depending on the client’s needs and requirements.

Equipment Procurement

At B2 Constructors, we can fulfill many roles. Some clients may need the technical engineering expertise required for development of equipment specifications and/or equipment procurement. We can assist our clients and provide them with the specs they need to procure project equipment themselves or we can develop the specs in-house and procure the equipment for them. The latter will deliver the customer a fully engineered, spec’d and built piece of equipment designed to the highest standards and will be guaranteed to meet their specific requirements.

Project Management

All clients have different needs and B2 Constructors is ready to assist in any fashion. We are able to provide Project Management services and/or review of construction documents, schedules, specifications, drawings and more. The company can serve as the owner’s rep and work directly with the General Contractor to ensure adherence to all project aspects or we can be brought on board to oversee the schedule development/implementation. From the company’s management experience we are able to see the project from any perspective and provide the customer an unbiased voice. We can integrate into any role the client desires.
